Roero Arneis D.O.C.G. 2020 - IL PEDRINO
Roero Arneis D.O.C.G. 2020 - IL PEDRINO
White wine obtained from 100% Arneis grapes , grown on the hills of Santa Vittoria d'Alba , in Piedmont. The vineyards, located at about 320 meters above sea level, thrive on marly and sandstone soils, rich in mineral salts, with a good presence of limestone, clay and sand, which contribute to creating a fresh and mineral wine. The Roero Arneis DOCG "Il Pedrino", signed by Dabbene Daniele, perfectly expresses the typical characteristics of this Piedmontese variety, giving a freshness that enchants at the first sip.
The harvest is done manually at the beginning of October, when the grapes reach the right level of ripeness. After maceration with the skins for 3-4 days, the wine ferments with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks for a period of 10-30 days. The maturation on the fine lees lasts from 6 to 12 months, enriched by a process of batonnage that enhances the complexity of the wine, giving the Roero Arneis DOCG "Il Pedrino" a delicate but persistent structure.
The refinement continues for 12 months in the bottle at a controlled temperature before being released for sale, making this white wine a product of great elegance and longevity. The combination of tradition and innovation in production, with the unique touch of Dabbene Daniele, makes this Roero Arneis a wine that can be appreciated immediately or with a little aging, to best express its complexity.
